Sadly 2011 has been a year of loss.  We lost 3 of our llamas, Carnival Star, Allegro and Penelo-P, who is pictured below. We lost Allegro & Penelo-P in the same week with Penelo-P on Dec. 24. That was a very unexpected passing. Carnival Star & Allegro had lived a long life and had become elderly. Everyone is getting older, including us. Allegro was our PR llama & was in the Rose parade. He did not care to show but was a great llama to take to meet and greet people. He was a great llama to take to the Orange County Pet Expo every year to meet hundreds of people. He was very calm and tolerant. Carnival Star did not like to show as he got older so we were happy to just let stay at home. He was our very first llama.

We will miss them all. So we have had some losses but we also added a new little boy to our family. He is Lone Cowboy RTC. He comes from RTC Llamas in Nebraska. He is very smart and calm for being so young.  I like his personality. He seems to learn things quickly.  I think he one to watch for at the shows.
